Death of A success
It’s frightening to know that a resource that the world depends on for survival is limited. When I look at the issue from a religious perspective, I am very afraid. I very afraid because I know the predictions that many such as my friend’s mother have been making could become reality. Although I get scare, I also think about the possibility that these scientific predictions could be inaccurate. Even though I consider these possibilities, deep down in my heart I know they are very slim and unlikely. Could this time be the judgment day that Catholics and other religions have been talking about? Or could it just be a punishment from God himself to the world. There could be many explanations for this punishment if it’s true. One possible reason would be the fact that humanity has mistreated the earth. What this means is that humanity has used the earth to make things that are of no importance. We have used the environment that God himself created to facilitate our lives, and used it to produce materials that bring about our destruction. One result is the fact that we are now running short on oil supply. Because we have used oil to make toxic products that were of no essence we are now facing the consequences. Additionally we are also running short on fish supply, just because we have polluted the sea that God put on earth for us to feed from. We have polluted this ocean with the toxic materials that we have produced. My life is not promised on earth, but what I can do at the moment is pray for forgiveness.
